🎸 Stari Drugovi

Stari Drugovi is a musical project founded by Miroslav Lekić, an original drummer of the legendary rock band Divlji Anđeli, formed in Belgrade, former Yugoslavia.

 

Early Beginnings

Miroslav Lekić began his musical journey in the vibrant rock scene of 1980s Belgrade, former Yugoslavia. As the original drummer of Divlji AnÄ‘eli, he helped shape the band’s powerful sound and stage presence during a defining era of Yugoslav rock music. The band quickly gained recognition for their energy, authenticity, and emotional depth.

 

International Career & Studio Success

After his early success in former Yugoslavia, Miroslav expanded his career internationally. He built a strong presence in the United States, working extensively in music production and commercial audio.

 

His accomplishments include:

  • Producing and composing Las Vegas jingles

  • Recording music for radio and TV commercials

  • Operating professional recording and rehearsal studios

  • Founding Studio Five Music & Rehearsal Studios

These ventures established him as both a creative artist and a respected producer in the multimedia industry.

 

Studio 11 Productions

In 1997, Miroslav founded Studio 11 Productions, a multimedia creative agency that remains active to this day. Studio 11 Productions evolved into a full-scale creative powerhouse — combining music production, digital media, web development, branding, and multimedia storytelling.

Under his leadership, the company has bridged classic rock heritage with modern digital production.

 

Revival & New Releases

In recent years, Miroslav reignited the legacy of Divlji Anđeli through the Stari Drugovi project.

Major milestones include:

  • Release of the powerful comeback single “Zemljo Moja Jedina” — which became a hit record and resonated strongly with longtime fans and new generations alike.

  • Completion and publication of all 17 remixed songs of Divlji AnÄ‘eli, carefully restored, remastered, and reimagined while preserving the original spirit.

  • Successful digital distribution across global platforms, introducing the music to an international audience.

Stari Drugovi represents more than a reunion — it is a celebration of friendship, legacy, and timeless rock spirit. Blending nostalgia with modern production, the project honors the roots of Yugoslav rock while embracing today’s global music landscape.
